This year's IAAD featured talks on Low Vision, skin cancer, ear & nose, dancing competition of children between the ages of 5-14 who showcased their talents.
Low Vision- One of the comments problem found among people living with albinism. He laid emphasis on good nutrition to assist the eyes function well fruits like cabbage, carrots.
Mental Health in the life of a PWA- Damilola Odukoya(professional consultant, certified coach and business management consultant)
People do discriminate against what they do not know PWA do have low self esteem. To set rid of this problem, ask yourself how do you relate with people. You have confidence in yourself.
PWA Children do have challenges in their education. So, children must be made to comfortable at home. Parents must celebrate their, make them acceptable at home. Make home a safe haven for them. Give them needed educational aid. Help them with their homework.vThey can't read as their colleagues because of low vision.
Support them. Be involved in their life. Help them to write their notes.
Adults - Discover yourself, discover your self, understand who you are, boost your self esteem
*Parents should not force their children on the people who do not associate with them, Albinism is a gift, blessing from God gave you. Don't let it get you down.

We thank LASG for taking care of PWA through LASODA. As Oliver twist, we want more to treat cancer patients (free surgery) we want LASG to come to our aid. For precaution lesson, we need Efidix.
Parents of PWA should give their children family love without discrimination which will boost their self esteem. The starts from birth- breast feeding. Don't say this is PWA I can't breast feed him/her.
The global event is to create awareness on the plight of PWA. Since 2018, LASG has been sponsoring the program through LASODA (Lagos Office for Disability Affair). Through this office, we have benefited few things which Oliver twist need more like the Greem to prevent cancer which is on the increase among PWA.
