Belgian/Dutch photographer Sanne de Wilde tried to capture fragility of the albino skin in her ‘Snow White’ series. Their lack of pigment makes them a symbol for stereotypes. Their visual appearance ofcourse says nothing about inner strength. De Wilde is touched by their beauty. “The whiteness that makes them stand out, when captured in an image, almost makes them dissolve, consumed by the light.”
